Her hope, as your counsellor, is to offer you the space and time where you can explore your life, who you are and how you are feeling and responding to your experiences in life within a professional and confidential relationship and setting.
People will often turn to counselling when a situation occurs in their life that undermines their sense of who they are, maybe questions where they want to be in life or they just feel they aren't coping and life has become such a struggle. Situations such as a bereavement, the break up of a relationship or the loss of employment are but a few.
Certainly, when we find ourselves suffering with feelings of anger that impacts into our relationships or with depression and anxiety, life can feel like a real challenge and counselling is a place to work with these issues that can so restrict our experience of life.
Counselling can assist in personal growth and personal awareness, working towards emotional and cognitive fitness and wellness.
Standard fee for a 50 minute session is £40 for both individual and couples, concessionary fees are available.
